Study on the effect of continuing nursing on patients with prostate hyperplasia
Objective To analyze the nursing effect and impact of continuing nursing intervention on patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia. Methods Eighty patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia admitted to Tianjin Medical University Chu Hsien-I Memorial Hospital from May 2022 to May 2023 were included in the study and randomly divided into reference group and observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The reference group received routine nursing, while the observation group received continuing nursing intervention on the basis of the reference group. The scores of ESC A,BPHQLS before and after nursing and satisfaction rate with nursing between two groups of patients were compared. Results After nursing, the various scores of ESCA in the observation group were higher than those in the reference group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After nursing, the BPHQLS score of the observation group was(191.45±5.82)points,which was lower than(210.25±6.23)points of the reference group, and the difference was statistically significant(t=13.946 5,P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was 95.00%,which was higher than the reference group's 77.50%,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.164 7,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of continuing nursing intervention in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia had agood nursing effect, could improve their self-care ability and quality of life, and was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
