Observation on the clinical effect of Kuntai capsule in the treatment of atrophic vaginitis
Objective To explore the clinical effect of Kuntai capsule in the treatment of atrophic vaginitis,and to provide a scheme for the treatment and prevention of recurrence of atrophic vaginitis.Methods A total of 200 patients diagnosed with atrophic vaginitis for the first time in the gynecological clinic of Tianjin Wuqing District People's Hospital from March 2020 to October 2021 were selected and divided into control group and observation group,with 100 cases in each group,according to random double-blind method.The control group was given promestriene vaginal capsules(once/d,1 tablet/time,for 20 days)and metronidazole suppository(once/d,1 tablet/time for 10 days).On the basis of control group,the observation group was given Kuntai capsules(3 times/d,4 tablets/time)orally for 84 days.After 6 weeks of treatment,the effective rate of the two groups was compared.After 12 weeks of treatment,the two groups were followed up to compare the recurrence rate and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups.Results After 6 weeks of medication,the total effective rate of the observation group was 93.00％,which was higher than 80.00％of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=9.070,P＜0.05).After 12 weeks of medication,the recurrence rate of the observation group was 22.00％,which was lower than 43.00％of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=8.804,P＜0.05).There was no statistical significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05).Conclusion Kuntai capsules had significant clinical effects in the treatment of atrophic vaginitis,which could effectively prevent and delay the recurrence of atrophic vaginitis,significantly improve the patient's clinical symptoms without increasing the incidence of adverse reactions.
