Application effect of strengthening nursing on patients with diabetic ketoacidosis
Objective To observe the effect of strengthening nursing on patients with diabetic ketoacidosis,to explore effective nursing methods for patients with diabetic ketoacidosis,and to provide reference for clinical nursing plan formulation.Methods A total of 70 patients with diabetic ketoacidosis who were admitted to Tianjin Medical University Chu Hsien-I Memorial Hospital from December 2021 to April 2023 were selected for the study.They were randomly divided into the control group and the strengthening nursing group,with 35 patients in each group.The control group patients received routine nursing interventions,while the strengthening nursing group patients received strengtheming nursing interventions on the basis of control group.The correction time of acidosis,the time of urine ketone body to turn negative,hospital stay,incidence rate of complication and nursing satisfaction rate between two groups were compared.Results The correction time of acidosis,the time of urine ketone body to turn negative and hospital stay in the strengthening nursing group were(5.67±1.23)h,(20.65±2.10)h and(6.02±0.67)d,which were all shorter than those in the control group with(8.50±2.03)h,(26.23±2.16)h and(10.54±1.02)d,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence rate of complication in the strengthening nursing group was 5.71％,which was lower than 22.86％in the control group;the nursing satisfaction rate was 97.14％,which was higher than 77.14％in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(x2=4.200 0,6.247 7,P＜0.05).Conclusion Strengthening nursing had a positive impact on patients with diabetic ketoacidosis,which could promote the improvement of diseases conditions and rapid recovery of patients,reduce the incidence rate of complications,and patients were more satisfied and recognized,which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
