Effect of Wuling Powder on treating nephrotic syndrome with water dampness rampage edema
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of using Wuling Powder on the basis of conventional treatment for nephrotic syndrome with water dampness rampant edema,in order to provide reference for improving the prognosis of patients.Methods A total of 80 patients with nephrotic syndrome with water dampness rampant edema admitted to Tianjin Beichen District Beicang Town Community Health Service Center from January 2020 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects.They were divided into study group of 41 cases and control group of 39 cases using random number table method.The control group received routine Western medicine treatment,while the study group received treatment with Wuling Powder on the basis of the control group.The treatment effect,edema resolution time and 24-hour urine output and weight before and after treatment between the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of treatment in the study group was 97.56％,which was higher than 82.05％in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.342,P＜0.05).After treatment,the 24-hour urine output in the study group was more than that in the control group,and weight was lower than that in the control group,and the edema resolution time was shorter than that of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The combination of Wuling Powder and Western medicine had a high therapeutic effect on nephrotic syndrome with rampant edema caused by water dampness.It could effectively increase 24-hour urine output,improve the degree of edema in patients,and reduce weight,which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
