Effect of microwave combined with sophora flavescens ointment in the treatment of senile vaginitis
Objective To analyze the effect of microwave combined with sophora flavescens ointment in the treatment of senile vaginitis,so as to provide a more effective method for the treatment of senile vaginitis.Methods A total of 50 patients with vaginitis who visited Hexi District Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Tianjin from March 2021 to March 2022 were selected.After approval by the hospital's ethics committee,they were divided into control group and observation group using a lottery method,with 25 cases in each group.The control group received routine treatment,while the observation group received microwave combined with Sophora flavescens ointment treatment.The clinical efficacy,recurrence rate,adverse reactions and inflammation levels between the two groups were compared.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 100.00％,which was higher than the control group's 68.00％,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=9.524,P＜0.05).The recurrence rate in the observation group was 4.00％,which was lower than 36.00％in the control group;the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was 12.00％,which was lower than the control group's 32.00％,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before intervention,there was no statistically significant difference in CRP and WBC between the two groups of patients(P＞0.05);after intervention,the CRP and WBC of both groups of patients were lower than before intervention,and the observation group was lower than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The atrophy and thinning of the vaginal mucosa in elderly patients could significantly reduce the glycogen content inside the vaginal epithelium,alter the acid-base balance of the vaginal environment,and significantly reduce the ability of the vagina to kill pathogens,which cause pathogenic bacteria to invade,requiring scientific treatment.The combination of microwave and sophora flavescens ointment could reduce the inflammation level and recurrence rate of senile vaginitis,promote the improvement of treatment effect,and to a certain extent ensure the safety of treatment,which was worthy of clinical application.
