Effect of laparoscopic reduction surgery in the treatment of pediatric intussusception
Objective To explore the application effect of laparoscopic reduction surgery in the treatment of pediatric intussusception, and to provide a better method for the treatment of intussusception in children. Methods A total of 76 cases of pediatric intussusception treated in Tengzhou Central People's Hospital from May 2021 to September 2022 were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 38 cases in each group. The control group was treated with traditional open surgery and the observation group was treated with laparoscopic reduction surgery. The success rate of reduction, surgical time, intraoperative blood loss, time for getting out of bed, time for first anal exhaust, time for dietary recovery, length of hospital stay and incidence of complications between two groups were compared. Results The success rate of reduction in the control group was 100.00%,the success rate of reduction in the observation group was 97.34%,and there was no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).The surgical time, intraoperative blood loss, time for getting out of bed, time for first anal exhaust, time for dietary recovery, length of hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was 5.26%,which was lower than the control group's 21.05%,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.146,P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic reduction surgery in the treatment of pediatric intussusception can significantly reduce patient treatment time and hospital stay, achieve relatively ideal reduction effects, and help reduce the incidence of complications, which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
