Effect of laparoscopic surgery in the treatment of abdominal cryptorchidism in children
Objective To explore the clinical effect of laparoscopy surgery in the treatment of abdominal cryptorchidism in children and to find the best way to treat abdominal cryptorchidism in children. Methods From February 2019 to February 2023,90 children with abdominal cryptorchidism who were admitted to the Department of Pediatric Surgery of Shandong Province Tengzhou Central People's Hospital were selected as the study subjects, and were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 45 cases in each group. The control group received traditonal conventional surgical procedures(testicular descending fixation),and the observation group received laparoscopy surgery. The surgical related indicators, clinical efficacy and incidence of complications between the two groups of children were recorded and compared. Results The surgery time and postoperative pain time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, the intraoperative bleeding volume was less than that of the control group, and the score of postoperative pain degree was lower than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of treatment of the observation group was 97.78%,which was higher than 66.67%of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=14.899,P<0.05).The incidence of complications was 0.00%in the observation group, which was lower than 15.56%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=7.590,P<0.05).Conclusion The application of laparoscopy surgery in the treatment of abdominal cryptorchidism in children could significantly improve the clinical efficacy, reduce postoperative pain degree and effectively reduce the incidence of complications. It had high clinical application value.
