Effect of public health nursing on patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension
Objective To understand the clinical nursing effect and application value of public health nursing intervention on patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension.Methods Among the outpatients of Zaozhuang Municipal Hospital,50 patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension from January to December 2022 were selected as the research objects and divided into intervention group and control group with 25 cases in each group by using random number table method.The control group received clinical routine nursing,and the intervention group received public health nursing on the basis of the control group.The blood glucose and blood pressure levels of the two groups after nursing were compared.Results The levels of fasting blood glucose,glycated hemoglobin,2-hour postprandial blood glucose,diastolic blood pressure and systolic blood pressure in the intervention group were(6.22±0.76)mmol/L,(6.10±0.63)%,(7.16±1.26)mmol/L,(84.25±4.24)mmHg,(122.72±9.54)mmHg,respectively,which were significantly better than those in the control group with(6.83±0.81)mmol/L,(7.17±0.89)%,(8.44±1.37)mmol/L,(91.34±3.47)mmHg,(131.37±10.15)mmHg,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion For patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension,timely and effective nursing intervention must be carried out to accelerate the recovery process of patients.When carrying out public health nursing for patients with diabetes mellitus combined with hypertension,nursing could be carried out from many aspects,such as diet,medication,psychology and exercise.It was of great significance to promote patients to follow healthy behaviors,develop good living habits,enhance patients'self-care awareness,and control patients'disease development.It was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
