Effect of quality control and result management of community blood testing
Objective To explore the application effect of quality control and outcome management in community blood testing. Methods A total of 200 subjects who underwent blood testing at the Xiamen Siming District Yundang Street Community Health Service Center from January 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the study subjects.Odd and even random alternation method was used to divide them into a control group and an intervention group, with 100 cases in each group. The control group received routine blood testing techniques and management methods, while the intervention group received quality control and outcome management. The incidence of inspection errors and management quality ratings under two quality management methods were compared. Results The error rate in the intervention group was 4.00%,which was lower than the control group's 16.00%,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.684 2,P<0.05).The intervention group had a standardized process score of(95.28±2.19)points,a quality control score of(96.25±1.56)points,and a system implementation score of(94.27±1.65)points,which were significantly higher than the control group's(83.39±0.82)points,(82.12±1.15)points and(85.25±1.07)points,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The quality control and result management of blood testing in community health service centers would directly affect the accuracy of samples. There were many factors that could affect the testing conclusion, including staff, blood collection, instruments and equipment, samples, etc. Therefore,it was necessary to strengthen the standardized management of blood testing, carefully check blood samples, accurately record test results,in order to promote the full play of community blood testing quality, effectively prevent testing error rates, and promote the improvement of quality management level.
