The effect evaluation of subjective satisfaction degree on the adhesive retention of implant denture in posterior teeth area
Objective Different methods were used in the bonding of posterior dental implant prosthesis,to study the role of subjective satisfaction in evaluating adhesive retention methods. Methods A total of 62 implant patients with posterior tooth loss admitted to Gaotang County People's Hospital from November 2016 to November 2017 were selected as the study subjects, and randomly divided into study group and control group, with 31 cases in each group. The study group implemented improved adhesive retention, while the control group implemented conventional adhesive retention. The subjective satisfaction degree, modified sulcus bleeding index(mSBI)and modified plaque index(mPLI)between two groups were compared. Results The subjective satisfaction degree score of the study group was(25.92±1.44)points,which was higher than that of the control group with(24.65±1.24)points,and the difference was statistically significant(t=3.73,P<0.01).There was no statistically significant difference in chewing function scores between the two groups(P>0.05).The gingival sensation and comfort scores of the study group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The mSBI and mPLI of the study group were better than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).The objective indicators of the two groups were negatively correlated with the subjective satisfaction degree score of the group;the objective indicators of all research subjects were negatively correlated with the subjective satisfaction degree scores. Conclusion Subjective satisfaction degree could be used as a subjective indicator to evaluate the effectiveness of different adhesive retention effects in posterior dental implant dentures.
