Application of quality control circle activities in risk management of diabetes nursing
Objective To analyze the application effect of quality control circle activities in diabetes nursing risk management and to explore better nursing method for patients with diabetes mellitus.Methods A total of 20 nurses and 70 patients with diabetes mellitus in the Tengzhou Central People's Hospital from November 2019 to December 2021 were selected as the study objects.The time nodes were before and after the implementation of the quality control circle activities.A total of 35 patients before the implementations were included in the control group,and 35 patients after the implementations of quality control circle were included in the observation group.The control group received routine nursing,while the observation group received nursing risk management by quality control circle activities.The qualified rate of ward insulin storage,the qualified rate of measuring peripheral blood glucose operation,the cognition level of diabetes nursing risk of nursing staff and the incidence rate of nursing defect events to patients were compared between the two groups.Results The qualified rate of ward insulin storage,the qualified rate of peripheral blood glucose measurement and the cognitive level of diabetes nursing risk of nursing staff in the observation group were higher than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The incidence rate of nursing defect events in the observation group was 0.0％,which was lower than 11.4％in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.242,P＜0.05).Conclusion The implementation of quality control circle activities could enhance the risk awareness of nursing staff,improve their work quality,reduce nursing risks,and had a significant effect in the application of diabetes nursing risk management.
