Quality control measures and application effects of blood collection and supply
Objective To analyze the quality control measures and application effects of blood collection and supply,in order to improve the staisfaction degree of blood donors.Methods A retrospective study was conducted to select 40 blood donors who received before the implementation of blood collection and supply control measures in Qingdao Central Blood Station Center from January 2020 to December 2020 as the control group,and 40 blood donors who received after the implementation of blood collection and supply quality control measures from January 2021 to December 2021 as the observation group.The statistaction degree,incidence of adverse event,blood drawing operation time,nursing complaint rate and willingness rate to donate blood again of two groups were compared.Results The satisfaction degree score of blood donors in the observation group was(85.45±5.69)points,which was higher than that in the control group with(79.41±4.25)points;the incidence of adverse event of blood donors in the observation group was 5.00％,which was lower than 20.00％in the control group;the blood drawing operation time of blood donors in the observation group was(2.46±1.24)minutes,which was shorter than that of the control group with(5.38±1.47)minutes,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The nursing complaint rate of blood donors in the observation group was 0.00％,which was lower than 12.50％in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.333,P＜0.05).The willingness rate to donate blood again of blood donors in the observation group was 95.00％,which was higher than 77.50％in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.165,P＜0.05).Conclusion Implementing quality control measures for blood collection and supply could standardize the blood collection and supply work,improve donor satisfaction degree,reduce adverse events and nursing complaints and increase donors'willingness to donate blood again,which was worth promoting and applying.
