The application effect of bird's nest nursing in newborns
Objective To explore the influence of bird's nest nursing on neonatal oxygen saturation, gastrointestinal function and family nursing satisfaction rate. Methods Fifty newborns who were hospitalized at Tengzhou Central People's Hospital from January 2021 to January 2022 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into control group and intervention group, with 25 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the intervention group received bird's nest nursing intervention on the basis of the control group. The sleep time, temperature fluctuations, first meconium time, meconium turning yellow time, milk intake, blood oxygen saturation, incidence of adverse reactions and nursing satisfaction rate of family between two groups were compared. Results The sleep time in the intervention group was longer than that in the control group, the body temperature fluctuations was less than that in the control group, the first meconium time and turning yellowing time were shorter than those in the control group, the milk intake and blood oxygen saturation were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the intervention group was 4.00%,which was lower than 24.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.158 2,P<0.05).The nursing satisfaction rate of family in the intervention group was 96.00%,which was higher than 72.00%in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(x2=5.357 1,P<0.05).Conclusion The bird's nest nursing intervention simulated the environment in the uterus to create a comfortable and safe environment for newborns, thereby increasing blood oxygen saturation, helping newborns improve gastrointestinal function, reducing the incidence of adverse reactions, and increasing nursing satisfaction. It was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
