Application effect of nursing intervention in patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with urinary tract infection
Objective To explore the nursing methods of patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with urinary tract infection,to provide new ideas for clinical nursing work,and to analyze its implementation effect.Methods From January 2022 to January 2023,78 patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with urinary tract infection who were admitted to Tianjin Third Central Hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 39 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing,the observation group received high-quality nursing from aspects such as medication guidance,health education,infection control,dietary interventiong and exercise guidunces.Nursing satisfaction rate,medication compliance rate,infection control rate,blood glucose-related indicators and adverse mood were compared between the two groups.Results The total nursing satisfaction rate,medication compliance rate and infection control rate of the observation group were 97.44％、100.00％and 100.00％,which were significantly higher than 76.92％、71.79％and 76.92％of the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(x2=6.275,12.806,10.174,P＜0.05).After the intervention,the blood glucose index and adverse mood in the observation group were significantly better than those in the cotrol group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of high-quality nursing to patients with diabetes mellitus complicated with urinary tract infection could better meet the needs of patients,significantly reduce their blood sugar level,improve their medication compliance rate and nursing satisfaction rate,control the infection rate,and improve their bad psychological state,which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
