Application effect of health education nursing on elderly patients with hypertension
Objective To explore the effectiveness of health education nursing for elderly patients with hypertension,and to provide effective nursing methods for elderly patients with hypertension.Methods Sixty elderly patients with hypertension from January 2021 to October 2022 at Shandong Province Tai'an Rongjun Hospital were selected as the research subjects.They were divided into conventional group and study group,with 30 patients in each group.The conventional group received routine nursing,while the study group received health education nursing.The blood pressure levels before and after nursing and compliance rates of the two groups of patients were compared.Results Before nursing,there were no statistically significant differences in systolic boold pressure and diastolic blood pressure of patients between the two groups(P＞0.05);after nursing,the systolic blood pressure and the diastolic blood pressure of patients in the two groups were lower than those before nursing,and the study group was lower than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P＜0.05).The total compliance rate of the study group was 100.00％,which was higher than 90.00％of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.286,P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of health education in the nursing of elderly hypertensive patients had a definite effect.It not only effectively regulated blood pressure levels,further improved treatment effectiveness,improved patient discomfort,inhibited the occurrence of related complications,but also ensured treatment safety.At the same time,it improved treatment compliance rate of patients,promoted self-care and disease knowledge mastery,met clinical treatment needs,which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
