Clinical effect evaluation of red light therapy for senile vaginitis
Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of red light therapy for senile vaginitis, providing reference for the clinical treatment of senile vaginitis. Methods Sixty elderly patients with vaginitis who treated in Tianjin Hedong District Zhongshanmen Street Community Health Service Center from September 2020 to May 2021 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into control group and study group, with 30 cases in each group based on odd even numbers. The control group received conventional treatment mode, while the study group received additional red light treatment on the basis of the control group. The cure rates, vaginal symptom scores, vaginal exfoliated cell maturation index and serum hormone levels before and after treatment between two groups were compared. Results The cure rate of the study group was 93.33%,which was higher than that of the control group with 73.33%,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.32,P<0.05).After treatment, the vaginal symptom score of the study group was lower than that of the control group, and the maturation index of vaginal exfoliated cells was higher than that of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of E1 and E2 in the study group were higher than those in the control group, while the level of FSH was lower than that in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Red light therapy for senile vaginitis patients had good effect, which could increase the cure rate, improve vaginal symptoms and serum hormone level, which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
