The trerapeutic effect of Lijin Yangyang method massage in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy
Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of Lijin Yangyang method massage in the treatment of cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR),and its effect on shoulder pain and cervical range of motion.Methods Ninety CSR patients admitted to Jinjiang Hospital(Fujian Hospital of Shanghai Sixth People's Hospital)from January 2021 to December 2023 were divided into observation group and control group by using random number table method,with 45 cases in each group.The control group received conventional cervical traction+acupuncture treatment,the observation group received Lijin Yangyang method massage treatment on the basis of the control group.Then the clinical efficacy,TCM syndrome score,shoulder pain alleviation and cervical range of motion were compared between two groups.Results The total effective rate of the observation group was 95.56% ,which was higher than that of the control group with 82.22% ,and the difference was statistically significant(x2=4.050,P<0.05).Before treatment,there was no significant difference in TCM syndrome score,VAS score and cervical motion between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment,TCM syndrome scores and VAS scores in two groups were lower than before treatment,cervical motion was better than before treatment,and the observation group was better than the control group,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Application of Lijin Yangyang method massage in the treatment of CSR patients with Qi and blood stasis had shown good therapeutic effects,which was beneficial to improve shoulder pain and other discomfort symptoms,and improve the range of motion,which was worthy of clinical promotion and application.
