The differential diagnostic effect of color ultrasound application on uterine fibroids and adenomyosis
Objective To explore the differential diagnostic effect of color ultrasound on uterine fibroids and adenomyosis,to provide assistance for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with uterine fibroids and adenomyosis. Methods Sixty patients with uterine fibroids and adenomyosis admitted to Jinjiang City Luoshan Street Community Health Service Center from January 2021 to January 2023 were selected and divided into uterine fibroid group and adenomyosis group, with 30 cases in each group. Both groups underwent ultrasound examination. The ultrasound image characteristics and hemodynamic parameters of the two groups were compared. Results The ultrasound images of uterine fibroids group showed uterine enlargement and uniform hypoechogenicity;the ultrasound images of adenomyosis group mainly showed uterine enlargement and mild diffuse high echogenicity;the blood flow of patients in the uterine fibroid group was higher than that in the adenomyosis group, the pulsatility index was higher than that in the adenomyosis group, and the resistance index was lower than that in the adenomyosis group, and the differences were statistically significant(x2=12.305,2.336,15.447,P<0.05).The number of patients in the Adler classification of grade Ⅰ was the highest in both groups, and there were the statistically significant differences in the number of patients in different grades(P<0.05).Conclusion Uterine adenomyosis and uterine fibroids were common gynecological diseases.Uterine fibroids were solid masses formed by the proliferation of smooth muscle tissue in the uterus.Patients with adenomyosis had lesions in the endometrial muscle layer, which affected the normal function of the endometrium and caused menstrual disorders and dysmenorrhea.Due to the similarities in symptoms between the two,it was necessary to ensure the accuracy and scientificity of diagnosis.Color ultrasound examination could grasp the dynamic parameters, ultrasound images and Adler grading of both, which had clinical value for the diagnosis and treatment of patients with uterine fibroids and adenomyosis.
