Analysis on blood picture and liver function among 1 096 radiation workers in Jingzhou City
Objective To explore the influence of radiation operation on human peripheral blood picture and liver function,so as to provide reference and help for the body health of radiation workers. Methods A total of 1 096 radiation workers who carried out occupational health examination in Jingzhou Center for Disease Control and Prevention from January to August 2019 were selected as the radiation group, and 62 people who were not engaged in radiation and other harmful operations who were undergoing health examination in the same period were selected as the control group, and the peripheral blood picture and liver function indicators of the two groups were statistically analyzed. Results There were no significant differences in WBC,NE,LY,RBC and Hb between the two groups(P>0.05).The PLT in the radiation group was(218.27±52.32)×1012/L,which was lower than that in the control group with(231.82±52.16)× 1012/L,and the difference was statistically significant(t=1.985,P<0.05).The TBIL,ALB and A/G in radiation group were better than those in the control group, and differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were no significant differences in ALT,AST,ALP,GGT,TP and GLB between the two groups(P>0.05).The abnormal rates of AST and TBIL in the radiation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There were the statistically significant differences in Hb,ALP,GGT,ALB,TBIL among different exposure age groups(P<0.05).There were the statistically significant differences in RBC,Hb,ALT,ALP,TP,ALB,GLB,A/G among different radiation types(P<0.05).Conclusion It was speculated that the decrease of PLT and TBIL in radiation workers exposed to radioactive substances continuously or intermittently for a long time may be superior to WBC count, which were the more sensitive indicators of long-term low-dose radiation effect.
