The Compilation Process and Value Representation of Contemporary Tibetan Buddhist Temple Records
In traditional local records pedigree,there are quite some stocks of Tibetan Buddhist temple records that have been for long neglected,and exchanges between temple records in Han Chinese and Tibetan temple records were almost non-existent.After the reform and opening up,Tibetan Buddhist temple records in the Tibetan language were compiled and published in large numbers,with a batch of temple records being translated into Han Chinese,and some Tibetan Buddhist temple records written in Han Chinese were subsequently launched.The compilation of Han Chinese and Tibetan Temple records experienced the dual track development period and the contemporary period of exchanges and mutual enrichment.Contemporary Tibetan Buddhist temple records compiled in both Han Chinese and Tibetan language were not only important historical witness to the development of Tibetan Buddhism,but also important historical practices of the development of Chinese temple literatures.These historical practices confirm the process of constant development and enrichment of the connotations of the Chinese nation community consciousness.
