Examination and Analysis of Wang Yangming Poems and Proses as Seen in Fujian Local Records—Also on Special Values of Local Records References
Wang Yangming during his stay in Fujian created a great number of poems and proses.These works have fairly big differences in terms of contents and texts with poems and proses collections sorted by his disciples,including complete collections of works currently in circulation.There are also poems and proses not included in the complete collections,which can not but be held as a pity.Yangming's disciples and local records compilers,when collecting Wang Yangming's original works,inevitably would have situations in which there are deletions and revisions.Analyzing the causes and effects of these deletions and revisions from the two aspects of texts and contents,we can not only discover that poems and proses collected in local records are important supplements to Wang Yangming research,but also reveal the special treatments of Fujian local records on Wang Yangming's poems and proses,subsequently learning of the compilation thoughts of Fujian local records,clarifying the deep influences of the thinking of"the greatness of a man lends glory to a certain place"on regional literature,and revealing the special value of local records references.
