This thesis briefly reviews and analyses the implications of low carbon economy and its relations with the energy conservation and emission reduction pursued by China and the necessity to develop low carbon economy in the transport sector. This thesis reaches a tentative generalization about what low carbon transport is and its development strategies. In addition, this thesis also puts forward China's development thoughts and development priorities about low carbon transport.
