How to Promoting College Students' Employment?A Behavioral Economics Perspective
Based on the theory of behavioral economics,this paper analyzes the causes of the employment dilemma of college graduates in China and puts forward some policy suggestions.Based on the theories of personal cognitive bias,information asymmetry and exposure effect,this paper expounds the following problems:First,some graduates have cognitive bias such as"overconfidence"in career planning;Second,the current policy evaluation system lays too much emphasis on assessment indicators,ignoring individual needs,resulting in inefficient employment guidance;Third,the information asymmetry in the recruitment process leads to"adverse selection"in the job market,which makes it difficult to match between high-level enterprises and high-quality talents;Fourth,some media reports have negative rendering,which is easy to cause employment anxiety of graduates.To this end,the paper puts forward four improvement measures:to help students overcome cognitive bias,to build a multi-dimensional employment evaluation system,to build an information sharing platform,and to strengthen public opinion control.
