Accelerate the Construction of a new Pattern of High-quality Vocational Development Education——Summary of Expert Reports at the 3rd International Forum on University Students Career Development Education on Innovation and Excellence
Considering that the employment of university graduates is related to public well-being,economic development and the future of the country,it is an important mission for the government,universities,and enterprises to do their utmost to promote the employment of university graduates.On 10 November 2023,Beihang University and Kassel University co-hosted the 3rd International Forum on Career Development Education for University Students with the keywords of"Innovation and Excellence".The forum was attended by leaders from the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security of the People's Republic of China,experts and scholars in the fields of career development,employment guidance,innovation and entrepreneurship at home and abroad,entrepreneurial representatives and representatives of global university students.The theme of the forum was"accelerating the creation of a new pattern of high-quality career development education".It explored ways to enhance the capacity of university graduates and to strengthen career planning and employment guidance from the perspectives of universities and the labour market,and suggested that universities should establish and improve the reform of the employment-oriented education system and to perfect the efficient career development and employment guidance service system,as a result of which these contribute to high-quality and full employment.
