Evaluation System for Employment Quality of College/University Graduates:Realistic Challenges,International Comparison,and Optimized Pathways
The establishment of evaluation system for the employment quality of college/university graduates is a crucial step within improving their employment quality.Currently,the evaluation system for the employment quality of college/university graduates in China still faces challenges in dimensions such as evaluation notions,evaluation subjects,evaluation mechanisms,and evaluation indicators.In light of this,this study selects employment status tracking survey reports that can directly reflect the employment quality of college/university graduates as research objects.Taking the"Chinese 4-Year College/University Graduates'Employment Annual Report(2023)"and the US report"Baccalaureate and Beyond(B&B:08/18):First Look at the 2018 Employment and Educational Experiences of 2007-08 College Graduates"as samples,a comparative study is conducted on the employment quality evaluation systems in the two reports.Based on this,targeted optimization suggestions are proposed to improve the current evaluation system for the employment quality of college/university graduates in China.
