A Study on the Current Status and Influencing Factors of College Students' Job-seeking Behavior from the Perspective of 'Slow Employment'
The college student demographic represents a vibrant wellspring of innovation and constitutes the nation's most valuable human resource. Their employment and career development play an irreplaceable role in propelling technological innovation, cultural prosperity, and societal progress. With the continuous annual increase in the number of graduates, the issue of college student employment has become increasingly challenging, and job-seeking behaviors have exhibited a trend toward diversification, with the phenomenon of "slow employment" becoming increasingly prominent. This study, through an investigation into the "slow employment" situation among college students, explores the impact of specific parental career behaviors on the job-seeking behaviors of college students and examines the mediating role of job-seeking self-efficacy and the moderating effect of career decision-making difficulties. Finally, the study proposes improvement measures from the perspectives of the college students themselves,as well as from schools, families, governments, and society,in order to enhance the quality of employment for college students and alleviate the current situation of "slow employment."
