Study on the Adaptability between Higher Education Talent Cultivation and Economic and Social Development Needs
The core of adaptability of talent cultivation with economic and social development needs is to grasp the underlying logic between higher education and the needs of economic and social development, namely, strengthening the connection between higher education and the work world, enhancing the integration of industry and education, and promoting the integrated construction of disciplines, majors, and courses. In terms of practical implementation, the key to aligning talent cultivation with economic and social development needs is the adaptability of disciplines, majors, and the industrial structure as well as the establishment of modular courses.Firstly,we should base ourselves on government delegation of power and authority, shift from supply-side reform to demand-side reform, and give full play to the role of the market in order to enhance the adaptability of talent cultivation with economic and social development needs and support the construction of an educational powerhouse.Secondly,we should downplay majors and emphasize courses, promote the integrated construction of disciplines, majors, and courses.Thirdly,we should establish a long-term mechanism for the integration of industry and education to hit a series of coordinated blows in the governance of higher education.
