A Marxist Ecological Review of the Platform Capitalism—Taking the"Anti-Ecological"Nature of Capitalist Economy as a Clue
The emergence of the digital platform under the platform capitalist economic model has not changed the basic logic of capitalist economy's unlimited exploitation of nature in capitual proliferation,indi-cating that the anti-ecological nature of capitalist economy still exists.While continuing its anti-ecological nature,the platform capitalist economic model,with the support of advanced digital platform technology,on the one hand,promotes capitalist economic growth,on the other hand,deteriorate capital ecology by acceler-ating natural resource consumption,deepening ecological environment pollution,and weakening ecosystem restoration capacity.Capital is not only an inherent limitation of capitalist economy itself,but also the culprit of ecological problems.In the era of digital platforms,only by transcending the logic of capital growth,pro-moting the socialist application of digital platforms,and promoting the construction of a socialist platform economy,can we realize ecological civilization.
