Objectivity of News under the Tension of Criticism,Norm and Fact:From the Perspective of Critical Hermeneutics and Related Debates
Starting from the debates between philosophical hermeneutics and critical hermeneutics, this paper explores the debates of Gadamer,Habermas,Derrida, and Luhmann about objectivity and normative problems, and combines the thought development of hermeneutics and the concept changes of journalistic objectivity, with the aim to fully understand the journalistic objectivity involved in the theory.Through the dialogue between Gadamer and Habermas, objectivity will manifest itself as a dynamic process integrating normative and critical processes.Based on the continuation of the dispute between postmodernism and Luh-mann's system theory on objectivity, the significance and difficulties of objective standardization are further demonstrated, and a new perspective is provided for understanding objectivity as the tension between fact and norm.Whether it is always accompanied by doubt and controversy, journalistic objectivity always finds its footing in the complex tension of ideas, thus becoming the immortal god.
