The Dilemma of High-quality Development of Territorial Space and Its Relief—An Analysis Based on the Perspective of Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality
Territorial space is the main carrier of interaction between human activities and natural systems. The logic of territorial space development and utilization formed by the traditional industrialization model neither can get rid of the"Jevons paradox"of resource utilization, nor can it effectively support the implementation of the carbon peak and carbon neutrality goals. The paper systematically analyzed the problems faced in the high-quality development of territorial space and the causes of the difficulties, and proposed that we should seize the opportunity of development paradigm transformation brought by carbon peak and carbon neutrality, jump out the traditional industrialization thinking,to build a high-quality development pattern of territorial space oriented towards the goal of"dual carbon"from the aspects of reshaping the value order of territorial space, playing the leading role of spatial planning, optimizing the spatial pattern of the"production-living-ecological"space,strengthening the use control of carbon sink space, and reinforcing the foundation of scientific cognition.
