Evaluation of Ecological Benefits of Land Consolidation and Rehabilitation in the Whole Area Based on GEP Accounting—Taking Sands Island in the Nanhai District,Foshan City as an Example
Making a case study of Sands island,which is a pilot project of area-wide land consolidation and rehabilitation in Nanhai district,foshan city,Guangdong province,the article takes the"third land survey"plot survey scale as the evaluation unit,and the renovation and restoration projects as the evaluation content,establishing the ecological benefit evaluation system of comprehensive land consolidation based on the Gross Ecosystem Product(GEP)accounting method to systematically evaluates material products,regulatory services,cultural services,and ecological benefits of net increase of biodiversity after comprehensive land consolidation.The study shows that the land consolidation and rehabilitation in the whole area has effectively improved the ecological benefits of the study area,with the highest value-added cultural service value,the greatest ecological benefits generated by the greenway construction in the rehabilitation project,and the landscape value-added contributing more to the evaluation factors.The results of the evaluation can effectively guide the high-quality implementation of the land consolidation and rehabilitation in the whole area,and provide data support for exploring diversified ways to realize the value of ecological products.
