Otolaryngology head and neck surgery is a subject with complex anatomy,diverse diseases,and rapid development.How to train a professional postgraduate with both professional skills and clinical research ability has always been a problem of concern and exploration.This paper analyzes the current difficulties in training professional master of otolaryngology head and neck surgery.That is,how to carry out clinical teaching with competence as the core,how to improve the clinical research thinking of master,how to carry out ideological and political education and improve teachers'emphasis on ideological and political education.This paper proposes corresponding solutions and strategic discussions based on the previous teaching experience of the teaching and research department,which provides reference for the cultivation of specialized master's degrees in disciplines.
