Risk factors and predictive efficacy of secondary endometrial lesions in perimenopausal patients with abnormal uterine bleeding
Objective To investigate the risk factors and predictive efficacy of secondary endometrial lesions in perimenopausal patients with abnormal uterine bleeding to provides reference for early identification of high-risk groups and individualized prevention and treatment programs. Methods 102 perimenopausal patients with abnormal uterine bleeding were retrospectively selected from January 2017 to June 2022 in Chaohu Hospital affiliated to Anhui Medical University. All patients were divided into different groups according to whether secondary endometrial lesion or not.To evaluate the independent risk factors for secondary endometrial lesions in perimenopausal patients with abnormal uterine bleeding Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curves were plotted to analyze the clinical efficacy of these independent risk factors in patients with secondary endometrial disease. Results Univariate and.multivariate analysis showed that age and combined with T2DM were independent risk factors for secondary endometrial lesions in patients with perimenopausal abnormal uterine bleeding(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that both age and T2DM could be effectively predict the risk of secondary endometrial lesions in perimenopausal patients with abnormal uterine bleeding.Notably, the combined use of these two indicators yielded superior predictive efficacy compared to using either indicator alone(P<0.05).Conclusion The secondary endometrial lesions of perimenopausal patients with abnormal uterine bleeding may be related to age and T2DM and the combination of the above two indexes can more effectively predict the secondary endometrial lesions risk in patients above.
