Relationship between L1CAM expression and clinicopathological features,ER,PR in endometrial carcinoma and its prognostic value
Objective To investigate the relationship between the expression level of L1 cell adhesion molecule(LICAM)and clinicopathological features, estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR)in endometrial carcinoma and its prognostic value. Methods A total of 47 patients with endometrial cancer were selected from Wuxi Xishan People's Hospital and Zhongda Hospital Affiliated to Southeast University from March 2018 to November 2019.The expression of L1CAM,ER and PR in cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were detected and compared, and the relationship between LI CAM expression and clinicopathological features,ER and PR in cancer tissues was analyzed. The prognostic value of L1 CAM expression was also examined. Results The positive expression of L1 CAM in cancer tissues was significantly higher than that in adjacent tissues, while the positive expression of ER and PR was significantly lower than that in adjacent tissues, with statistical significance(P<0.05).L1CAM was negatively correlated with ER and PR(r=-0.298,-0.556,P=0.003,0.000).Logistic regression analysis showed that histological differentiation, lymph node metastasis, myometrial infiltration,ER and PR were the influencing factors on the positive expression of L1 CAM in cancer tissues(P<0.05).L1CAM had a higher survival prognostic value, and the area under the curve was 0.697.Kaplan-Meier Plotter revealed that patients with low expression of L1CAM had higher survival rate. Conclusions L1CAM has abnormally high expression in endometrial carcinoma tissues, and is negatively correlated with ER and PR.The degree of histological differentiation, lymph node metastasis and myometrial infiltration,ER and PR expression were the influencing factors of L1 CAM positive expression, and L1CAM had a certain value in evaluating the survival and prognosis of patients.
