Influence of different delivery methods on maternal-infant outcomes and postpartum pelvic floor function in primiparae
Objective To explore the influence of different delivery methods on the maternal-infant outcomes and postpartum pelvic floor function in primiparae. Methods A total of 324 primiparae admitted to Jiaocheng Central Hospital of Qingdao from January 2020 to December 2021 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the observation group(162 cases, using unprotected perineal delivery)and the control group(162 cases, using protected perineal delivery)by using the random number table method. The perineal condition, delivey status,maternal-infant outcomes, and pelvic floor function were observed in both groups. Results The number of cases with 0 degree and the number of cases with Ⅰ degree of perineal laceration in the observation group were significantly higher compared to the control group(P<0.05).The pain score and blood loss of primiparae in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).The incidence rates of neonatal asphyxia, intrauterine infection, postpartum hemorrhage and soft birth canal tear in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of unprotected perineal delivery in primiparae has a certain effect on improving maternal-infant outcomes and postpartum pelvic floor function.
