Application of ultrasound imaging of blood flow combined with ultrasound elastography in evaluating the therapeutic effect of ablation on hysteromyoma
Objective To investigate the clinical value of ultrasound imaging of blood flow combined with ultrasound elastography in evaluating the therapeutic effect of ablation on hysteromyoma. Methods The clinical data of 101 patients who underwent ultrasound-guided ablation for hysteromyoma in Maanshan People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were analyzed retrospectively.According to the efficacy, the patients were divided into complete inactivation group and partial inactivation group. The relationship between preoperative conventional two-dimensional ultrasound, ultrasound imaging of blood flow and ultrasonic elastography features and the therapeutic effect of ablation was discussed. The value of preoperative ultrasound imaging of blood flow combined with ultrasound elastography in evaluating the therapeutic effect of ablation on hysteromyoma was analyzed using the receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve. Results Six months later, reexamination results showed that there were 74 patients with complete inactivation and 27 patients with partial inactivation, with a complete inactivation rate of 73.27%.Univariate analysis found that tumor echo intensity,CDFI blood flow classification, and focus strain rate(SR)were related to the therapeutic effect of ablation on hysteromyoma(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis found that CDFI blood flow classification and SR were independent influencing factors of the therapeutic effect of ablation on hysteromyoma(P<0.05).ROC analysis showed that the AUC of preoperative CDFI blood flow classification combined with SR to predict the therapeutic effect of ablation on hysteromyoma was 0.858.The sensitivity and specificity were 86.97%and 71.62%.The AUC and sensitivity of joint prediction were significantly higher than those of single prediction(P<0.05).Conclusions The ultrasound imaging of blood flow and ultrasound elastography features are related to the therapeutic effect of ablation on hysteromyoma.Ultrasound imaging of blood flow combined with ultrasound elastography is of high value in predicting the therapeutic effect, providing information for clinical condition evaluation and treatment plan adjustment.
