The value of aortic isthmus blood flow index and serum CysC in evaluating cardiac function and perinatal outcome of fetus with gestational diabetes mellitus
Objective To investigate the value of aortic isthmus blood flow index(IFI)and serum cystatin C(CysC)in the evaluation of fetal cardiac function and perinatal outcome in gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM).Methods The clinical data of 103 GDM patients seen in Bozhou People's hospital from March 2021 to December 2022 were retrospectively analyzed and studied as an observation group, and 88 healthy mid-gestation pregnant women in the same period were selected as a control group. The expression levels of IFI,CysC,isovolumic diastolic time(IRT),isovolumic contraction time(ICT),and ejection time(ET)were compared between the two groups, and the perinatal outcomes of the two groups were recorded.Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation between IFI,serum CysC and IRT,ICT and ET.Results The levels of IFI and ET in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the levels of CysC,IRT,and ICT were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05);the results of Pearson's correlation analysis showed that the levels of IFI were negatively correlated with IRT and ICT,the levels of IFI were positively correlated with ET,the levels of serum CysC were negatively correlated with ET,and the levels of serum CysC and IRT,ICT and ET were positively correlated(P<0.05);the total incidence of perinatal adverse outcomes in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05);the level of IFI in the adverse outcome group was lower than that in the group with a good outcome, and the level of CysC was higher than that in the group with a good outcome(P<0.05).Conclusion IFI and serum CysC have a certain value in the evaluation of fetal heart function and perinatal outcome of GDM.
