Study on the Characteristics and Genesis of Graphite Ore in Daliugou-Yudaiwan Area
The Daliugou-Yudaiwan graphite deposit is located in the Middle East section of the graphite mineralization belt from southwest Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region to North Hebei province in the northern margin of the North China landmass. It is believed that the deposit occurs in the relatively stable area of Taipingzhuang Formation in the middle paleoproterozoic Hongqiyingzi Group, which has at least two sets of concentrated graphite-bearing layers. The deposit is controlled by late faults and located in the upper wall of faults. The natural type of ore is mainly graphitic biotite monzonite granulite with graphitic biotite plagioclase gneiss, graphitic chlorite mica quartz schist and graphitic diathermy chlorite schist.Graphite-bearing rock series have the characteristics of khondalite series. The deposit is stratified in general. The distribution of ore bodies is relatively concentrated, the average grade of ore deposits is low,and the content of orthomesh graphite is high. The development conditions of the deposit are medium. There are prospecting potential in the outer and deep parts of the deposit. It is a typical large crystalline graphite deposit formed by regional metamorphism and migmatitization,of organic origin.
