Geological Characteristics and Genetic Analysis of the Songzhuang Graphite Deposit in the Xixia Area of the North Qinling Mountains
The Songzhuang graphite deposit in Xixia county is a large scale crystalline graphite deposit newly discovered in the Zhuyangguan Liuquanpu graphite mineralization belt of the northern Qinling orogenic belt. The mining area mainly exposes the Lower Proterozoic Qinling rock group strata, which are distributed in a northwest southeast direction. The ore bodies are concentrated in the Yanlinggou rock group strata of the Qinling group. The ore exploration indicators in the mining area are obvious, and the results of flake size measurement show that the graphite sheet diameter is relatively large, indicating that the quality of graphite ore in the Yanlinggou formation of the Qinling group is good, the ore is easy to select, and has good development prospects. This article summarizes the geological and geophysical characteristics of the Songzhuang graphite deposit, analyzes the mineralization stages and carbon sources, and believes that the contact metamorphic mineralization stage is the large-scale graphite deposit mineralization stage. The carbon in the area comes from organic matter, and the deposit is formed by regional metamorphic crystalline graphite deposits.
