Experimental Study on Mineral Processing of a Low Grade Graphite Mine in Jiangsu Province
A graphite mine in a certain area of Jiangsu province is a low-grade large scale crystalline graphite.Mineral processing experiments were conducted on it,including rough selection condition experiments, fine classification experiments, and open and closed circuit mineral processing experiments. After the closed circuit beneficiation of the raw ore, which is crushed by a high-pressure roller mill, undergoes one rough selection, one sweeping selection, and the coarse concentrate is separated after one selection. The separated products are further ground and separated, and the intermediate ore is returned centrally,a fixed carbon grade of 96.61%can be obtained for graphite concentrate, with a recovery rate of 85.52%.The results indicate that the graphite ore has certain selectivity and utilization value, which can provide a basis and reference for the beneficiation of similar graphite ores.
