Genesis and Metallogenic Prediction of Talc Deposit in Xiaoyaogou Area,Southern Liaoning Province
The Xiaoyaogou talc deposit is a typical large-scale talc deposit in the talc metallogenic belt of the Yingkou-haicheng area, southern Liaoning province.Magnesite marble and dolomite marble of the three-member Dashiqiao Formation in the Paleoproterozoic Liao River Group are the main ore-bearing beds and host country rocks of talc,The deposit is controlled by the interlayer compression fracture zone near the north wing of the yingluo-caohekou syncline,Its mineralization is closely related to regional metamorphism, and the deposit belongs to middle-low temperature hydrothermal metasomatism of sedimentary metamorphism stratabound. On the basis of studying the characteristics of the deposit in detail, combining with the regional metallogenic regularity and the prospecting achievements in recent years, this paper analyzes the ore-controlling factors and prospecting criteria of talc deposit in this area,it is considered that the nw-trending F1 fault discovered in the exploration of Xiaoyaogou mining area is a right-lateral translational fault formed during the Indo-Chinese and Yanshan Epoch(after metallogenic period),as a result, the thick and large orebodies in the deep part of the mining area disappear suddenly. Therefore,it is considered that the distribution area of the three-rock member of Dashiqiao Formation to the east of F1 fault has further prospecting potential.
