Geological Characteristics and Analysis of Metallogenic Elements of a Graphite Deposits in Jixi,Heilongjiang Province
The graphite deposit is located in the Xingmeng Mesozoic orogenic belt,Jiamusi block,Shuangyashan Mashan uplift, and within the Mashan uplift. The deposit occurs in the West Mashan Formation of the Meso Neoproterozoic Mashan Rock Group, and the graphite bearing rock series has the characteristics of the Khondalite series. The ore body is distributed continuously in a layered and lens like manner within the syncline structure; The distribution of ore bodies is concentrated, with large thickness, high average grade, and stable changes in thickness and ore quality; There is a significant difference in the geophysical characteristics between the ore body and the surrounding rock, with obvious negative natural potential characteristics. The natural type of ore is graphite bearing quartz schist; The ore has good selectivity, high content of positive graphite, high mineral recovery rate, and easy tailings treatment. The construction type, mineralization era,ore controlling conditions, and mineralization process are necessary ore-forming elements for the graphite deposit, while mineral combinations and ore body morphology are important ore-forming elements.
