Geological Characteristics and Development Utilization Prospect of the Gumuling Facing Sandstone Deposit in Pingxiang Area
The facing sandstone deposits of the ancient tomb ridge in the Pingxiang area mainly occur in the blue-gray to dark gray thin-to medium-thick layered quartz siltstone in the middle part of the Daye Formation of the Lower Triassic.Analysis of the geological characteristics of the mine and the characteristics of the deposit determined that the slate variety in the mining area is"Oriental Inkstone",which has uniform color,no stains, fine texture, dense and stable structure, good wear resistance, moderate hardness, low radioactivity level, and is not easy to discolor, easy processing and other characteristics.Through a brief analysis of the resource potential and market of facing sandstone minerals in Pingxiang area,it is believed that facing sandstone mines in Pingxiang area have good development and utilization prospects. This study aims to provide reference for the exploration, development and utilization of similar facing sandstone deposits in Pingxiang area.
