Experimental Study on the Comprehensive Utilization of Waste Rocks from a Cement Limestone Deposit in Henan
The total amount of waste rock in a cement limestone mine in Henan province is more than 60 million tons,and the waste rock is the stripped roof high MgO dolomite.In order to evaluate the direction of comprehensive utilization of waste rock,this paper carried out comprehensive utilization research on waste rock through laboratory process test.Through the experiment,it is concluded that:Internal illumination index(IRa)0.12,external illumination index(Iγ)0.13,average saturation compressive strength61.81MPa,average expansion rate of alkali active reaction 0.090%,average firmness7.49%,average crushing index13.87%,all indexes meet the quality index requirements of Class II building stone,can be used as building stone comprehensive utilization.This study provides a direction for the comprehensive utilization of the same kind of cement limestone mine waste.
