Analysis of Ore-forming Conditions and Exploration Direction of Anpeng Deposit in Henan Province
The Anpeng alkali ore deposit occurs in the Mesozoic and Cenozoic fault basins. The alkaline layer is combined with dolomite and oil shale to form an alkaline formation. The useful alkali minerals that make up the alkali ore layer are sodium bicarbonate and sodium carbonate. The formation of mineral deposits is affected by conditions such as ancient geological structures, ancient climate, mineralization depth, and organic matter in lake water. It is pointed out that the Cretaceous Tertiary salt formation period is the main period for global alkaline mineralization, and the mountain front depression basin is a favorable geological structure type for mineralization. The Hetaoyuan formation in the Nanyang Basin and its surrounding small basins,Dongpu depression, and Lushan depression are the main horizons for mineral exploration in Henan province.
