Geological Characteristics and Genesis of Fangshan Sandstone Deposit for Cement Batching in Changzhou,Jiangsu Province
The Fangshan sandstone deposit for cement batching is located at the junction of Lishui District,Nanjing city,and Liyang,Changzhou city,Jiangsu province.It occurs in the Upper Silurian Maoshan formation(S3m)and the Upper Devonian Wutong formation(D3w).It is divided into three ore bodies,located in the southeast wing and northwest wing of Fangshan inverted anticline respectively.The structural form of the ore body is moderate,with layered output.The overall direction is northeast-southwest and inclined towards southeast,with good overall continuity.The natural type of ore is quartz sandstone,and the industrial type is cement based siliceous raw materials.It is preliminarily considered that the deposit type is mechanical deposition type,and continental clastic tectonic facies sedimentary genetic type.
