Mineralization Law and Prospecting Criteria of Metallurgical Vein Quartz Ore in Kulun Banner,Inner Mongolia
The Tangjiazhangzi vein quartz deposit in Kulun Banner,Inner Mongolia is a newly discovered medium-sized vein quartz deposit in the southwest of Kulun Banner in recent years,and its industrial use is metallurgical flux.The exposed strata in the study area are mainly the Quaternary and Carboniferous Shizuizi formations.The structure is relatively simple,and a large area of the area is exposed to the Middle Permian monzonitic granite.The ore body occurs in the NW-trending tectonic fault zone,and the scale of the ore body is strictly controlled by the structure,and the boundary with the surrounding rock is clear.The ore minerals are quartz aggregates,and the color is gray-white to white.This paper summarizes the mineralization law,discusses the genesis of the deposit,points out the prospecting criteria of the deposit,and provides useful prospecting clues for expanding the regional vein quartz ore resources.
