The glass quartzite mine in Milashan,Dengfeng city,belongs to Songjitai uplift area on the southern edge of the Sino Korean paraplatform.The structure in the area is relatively complex,with a double-layer structure.The ore body occurs in the second member of the Luohantong formation of the Songshan group.The thickness of the ore body changes regularly,and the ore quality is good and stable.It is a high-quality glass quartzite deposit.The quartzite deposit in this area is controlled by both stratum and structure,that is,by the quartzite of the second member of Luohandong formation of Songshan group in the Lower Proterozoic,and by the Mila mountain syncline.The genetic type of the deposit is sedimentary metamorphic quartzite deposit.The deep and north-south periphery of the mining area have good prospects for the mineralization of glassy quartzite deposits,with great potential for mineral exploration.
