Geological Characteristics and Genesis of Shibanhe Graphite Mine in Lushan County,Henan Province
Lushan county,Henan province has abundant graphite mineral resources in Shibanhe.Through geological mapping, trenching, drilling and other geological work,it was found that there are 6 graphite ore zones in the deposit,36 graphite ore bodies are enclosed, with a length of 100~150m,a thickness of 1.02~22.19m,an average grade of 2.50%~5.70%,and an estimated resource size of medium-sized deposit. The genetic type of the deposit is sedimentary metamorphic deposit.Through comprehensive research on mineralization laws,it is believed that carbon bearing protoliths have a significant controlling effect on mineralization, and regional metamorphism and mixed lithification provide necessary conditions such as temperature, pressure, and metamorphic hydrothermal fluids for mineralization. The research results can provide theoretical support for future exploration of graphite deposits in this area.
