Research on Geological Characteristics and Exploration Direction of Quartz Sandstone Deposits in the North of Luonan,Shaanxi Province
Luonan of Shaanxi province is located in the southern margin of North China slope zone of Qinling Orogenic belt,The quartz sandstone deposit in the north of Luonan exists in the third lithologic section of Upper subformation of Changcheng System Gaoshanhe Formation;The natural type of ore is gray-smoke gray medium fine grained quartz sandstone,High content of useful component SiO2 in ore,low content of harmful components Al2O3 and Fe2O3.The ore quality is relatively stable.The quartz sandstone deposits in this area are of the sedimentary origin of littoral and shallow Marine facies clastic rocks,The occurrence and thickness of orebody layer are stable in the area.There is a good prospect for mineral exploration along the north and south wings of the Baihualing Lujiajie syncline in the region.
